Fred Perry had been collaberating with Amy Winehouse for a line of clothing, featuring polos, skirts and belts. He stopped the production after her sudden death but was asked to continue it by Amy's family. Since 2010 Amy had been working closely with the Fred Perry design team throughout the design process to create a limited edition clothing line she was passionate about and is true to her style. The collection is great for those stylish retro fashionistas.
Proceeds will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation set up by her father.

With a strong influence from the 1950's, you can clearly establish Amy's input. A use of houndstooth and peterpan collars, there is a playful yet classy approach to the collection. I love the retro feel, simple cuts and the clean colour palette throughout.
