New York Fashion Week has nearly come to an end and Rodartes collection is stunning. Colourful, floaty, contoured and elegant. The shoes were also fierce, chunky and made a statement. There was a feel of 1940's and 50's within the collection, fitted ruched dresses with swinging skirts which fell just below the knee elongating those calves.
These dresses have a playful youthful print of all sorts of flowers. The array of blues and yellows flow nicely together creating a etherial colour palette. Matched with the silver shoes it enhances the magical enchanting yet vintage look.
The sheer skirt extension with added glitter and swirls maintain that etherial chic look. With a hint of a bohemian air, the cut of the dresses fall stunningly across the body.
Oh baby, look at these phenomenal shoes. That heel, that platform. Those silvery star like straps, who wouldn't love these. Pair them with a pair of black jeans and you'd look killer. A little ponte mini skirt and jumper you'd feel glam or even a plain shift dress and voila.
My favourite look of the show, really cute colourful and chic. The slash neck jumper in shades of blues contrasted with yellow give the perfect colour palette, with an aqua knee skimming skirt, paired with the extravagant shoes it gives the daytime sophisticated elegance look that extra va va voom.
