I know its not summer but it is sunny...

It may be winter but sunglasses are still around and are fabulous with a fur coat. With the sun shining as I walk through London a pair of sunglasses are essential to protect those peepers. Here are my favourite brands who design the most incredible range.

I discovered heidi london sunglasses at London Fashion Week in February and instantly fell in love, the owners were so lovely taking photos of me in their glasses! Aha. They have a slight vintage feel but use a variety of colours and shapes to bring a feminine edge to her designers.

I have forever loved Linda Farrow, when flicking through my magazines I would always notice her sunglasses being modelled. During my work placement at London Fashion Weekend she had a stall, I found the most beautiful Linda Farrow for Luella cat eye sunglasses for a mere £40! Then they were mine. She's collaborated with so many brands it's incredible!

Studio Swine are a pair of graduated art students which practice multi-disciplinery design and have created an art project where they have used hair to create sunglasses. They explored the sustainability of human hair to find that human hair with bioresin create 100% biodegradable frames and that no harmful substances are released during the process. Ooo how eco friendly. Their unique take on the materials is amazing and their designs are just as original must have a pair!
Not currently for sale but will be priced £250 - £300

Whilst working at Browns in their Sloane street store I noticed the beautiful array of sunglasses, one of which I tried on and adored. So I took a closer look at other designs they did and they too have a lovely retro feel. All handmade in Italy but designer in New York, the brand really experiment with the use of materials and patterns.
