AWE Magazine Launch

AWE, standing for art wednesday editorial hosted a party on Wednesday night. The new bi-annual magazine is a host for both established and emerging artists, launching its magazine at Cuckoo club just off Regent Street. This issue contains an article with Lily Cole, photography from Alvin Baltrop, a short story by Alexi Wasser and lots more, its a lovely little issue with interesting input of creativeness.

Arriving at 11:30 a tad late or some would say fashionably late the club was already thriving with suarve men in business suits, hipsters and the odd student. I went straight to the bar for the free drinks kindly provided by Iceberg Vodka and Asahi beer, delicious. It was mainly just a huge room with lots of people sipping their free drinks and mingling, a good night ending in a bad hangover. Spotting Daisy Lowe and Matt Smith together at the club and soon leaving in a cab after a couple of hours was rather exciting, I won't lie.

There wouldn't have been any point in me taking a picture of the club when I got there, 1) it was packed, 2) i'm too short to take a decent picture and standing on a chair wasn't really doable.
