Photography - Henry Clarke

One of the first things I ever loved in the fashion industry were the beautiful photos taken of elegant models in couture clothing. And ever since I discovered vintage photography I haven't looked back, one of my favourites being being Henry Clarke. I want to be one of his models,to dress and to look like that everyday is what I dream to look like on day.

Fashion fact - Hermès

Once a week I shall be giving you guys a fact I (and maybe you) consider interesting, a bit of fashion history right here.

The Hermès house was founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermès, the brand which is known for the most luxurious of garments in it's industry, originating from the fashion capital of Paris. The first Hermès scarves appeared in 1937 which went by the name of Jeu des omnibus (the omnibus set) and Dames blanches (white ladies) designed by Sonia Delauney. Made from silk twill the patterns were printed on and then the rolled hemlines were sewn by hand and haven't been forgotten since.
