289. In bloom

Deep dark florals are a big blooming trend this Winter but their kept grungey and dark with somber colour palette. Christopher Kane's collection of inverted photographic floral print has a rather mystery feel about it without looking lifeless. I've teamed it up with with blacks and blues keep the rest of the outfit clean and the skirt to be the focus. With an added spike in the form of a ring, the mix of gold and gun metal tie in the colour palette together well.

278. Knomo

Knomo is all about luxury and functionality coming together to create stylish hang bags, laptop cases and much more. I've previously featured them for my pick of the week after falling in love with their bayswater collection. Last week I was invited to their rebranding event which launched a new line of bags, styling and obviously branding! Anyways I was ridiculously pleasantly surpised. Knowing their products as safe and maybe a little plain they've injected colour and style. For any working woman in the city these are an absolute must have!    

Rebranding with their signature quilting they've changed it to be more of a rhombus shape with double stitchingto make it that much more detailed adding a fully sense of luxury.
With their mascot being a fox i was a little curious to why. However being a stylish traveller it fits in well.  A key aspect of their new design is that their bags are considerably lighter making it easier and more comfortable to carry your laptop and luggage.

Being  a London born and bred company each is named after a street which was rather endearing. Another great little addition is that they all have a unique number on the inside. So that if you loose your bag and someone finds it they can call knomo and return it to you. A service they provide for free!
