Clear View - Splurge, Spend or Save

The cinderella slipper was seen on the catwalk at Marc Jacobs and now the clear shoe is making for a huge trend across the shoe world. The shoe creates quite the illusion, of magically gliding across the floor. A nice fun easy trend in my opinion.

355. What lies beneath?

Underwear is an obsession of mine, even though no one can see what you're wearing under your clothes, wearing a nice set of underwear just makes you feel that much more glamourous and sexy, however stupid that sounds. At the moment there's a real trend for all things lacey and very little to no padding, delicate and comfy. Check out my picks, there's one for what ever the budget.

Stella McCartney Vs Zara

Monochrome is always at the height of trends each summer and it's not going away this year. Zara have managed to interpret Stella McCartneys dress pretty well into a chic everyday dress.

Splurge, Spend or Save - Juicy Like Tropicana

The tropical print is everywhere this season, once thought as a tacky holiday shirt is now all the rage. Think palm trees, hibiscus flowers and most of all colour! This could be a daunting look as we want to stay away from the hawaiian tourist look but rock it with a splash of washed out denim or some simple greek sandals and it will ultimately be chic and effortless.

I love paisley!

Paisley as a beautiful eccentric pattern has been around for decades and decades and it's been seen all over the catwalk for this season. I have forever been a fan and so it's nice to see it's coming into the light this summer. Actually i'm pretty darn excited, it thrills me seeing this amount of intricate pattern and detail in flourishes of wild colours of pinks and blues. For me it goes with absolutely everything. Some may find it a tough piece to wear if you like to play it on the sensible side but give it a go. I already have several dresses, shirts, waistcoats, tights and more covered in the print. If you're looking for a fabulous piece or two go ahead and read some more. I'm telling you now, invest!

From left to right: Etro, Stella McCartney, Jill Sander and J.W.Anderson

My tips: Not many high street stores have this pattern in store yet, so head to vintage stores and charity shops, you'll find much better buys at a smaller price. However I'll asure you in a month or so's time this print will be everywhere on the high street.
Also be careful there are alot of monstrous designs out there, we like the bohemian look, but don't go trampy hippy on me.
And no no to head to toe.

My picks:

Splurge, Spend or Save - Crazy legs

Summer is approaching and the sun is starting to show, with that comes colourful clothing. This seasons look is all about the trouser, in bright colours, patterns and prints. I'm all for it and have already bought myself a pair of black and white striped trousers (which you can see in my Paris trip) and some of the most crazy leggings you can imagine. Definitely invest in a pair as they add a little excitment and creativeness to you're look, whether you choose to be bold or stay chic it's up to you!
