295. Poser

It was the second day of fashion week and post mac make-over and pre Mark Fast. A little tired after another 9:00am show but happy as I was taking my bestie to her first ever fashion show. I'm enjoying these cmid-calf length trousers, I predict they will be here to stay until next summer at least. They've been splurged all over the catwalk, so let's wait and see...

360. Poser

It's been over a month since I've done my last post and things have been completely crazy at work. All I've wanted to do is sit down and chill and I have to be honest. Plus my laptop is on death row so haven't really been able to write up anything.
Anyways, the weather has been incredible and I find it bloody difficult to dress it ridiculously hot heat. So stressful. Luckily my Mum's old shorts are my absolute go to. Check me out in my second outfit wearing her shorts + you need to check out Harvey Nichols sale. My back pack was an absolute steal.

1. Crop top, Zara, £3.99

356. Poser.

Jess and I decided to take a day trip to the Barbican where they have the most amazing conservatory filled with exoctic plants. Having a little wonder around we captured some pretty cool pics. Check out her website to see more! I love these shoes, they are my new found favourite, super comfortable they add a little height as well as looking pretty on the feet.

342. Poser.

So despite the one day of gorgeous weather in England, it's still pretty chilly. I've been looking for a parka for ages but have absolutely no money. I also predict that parkas are going to be the must have for AW14. Just you wait, seen everywhere on the catwalks. Anyways manage to nab this beauty up for a mere £16 on asos!

329. Ada + Nik

As the New Year starts so does London Collections: Men, after my first day back at work I headed to ME London Hotel for the Ada + Nik show. Known as a rather stylish and cool hotel, I heard loud house music being pumped as I entered the show space. The crowd was well dressed and wearing the "All black everything" look, so I could have only imagined this was going to be an edgy show heavily influenced by street style silhouettes.

Seated, a large projection beamed on the wall and we were introduced to Ada + Nik through a fashion film presenting the name of the collection "The dark wolf". An all noir aesthetic, the collection had a clear direction of a cool, clean and bold aesthetic. Layering was key to the looks that went down the catwalk, with classic old school biker jackets paired back with leggings and a long length the looks very definitely for the fashionable kind but also commercial. Male models were poised and fierce with a hard edge embodying the brand that Ada + Nik created. Outerwear was where the brand really stood out, tough long line parka coats with all over fur hoots and a sharp sporty yet smart bomber jacket. This was definitely a collection to invest in. Keeping it fashion forward were the dresses that many men may fear, layered up with jeans or slim fit jeans I could definitely see these making an appearance across the fashionable streets of London and New York. Watch out for this brand I can see this emerging into the depths of both Men and Women's wardrobes.

Oh and I spotted the god damn hunky model Jimmy Q, look at him smoulder!

315. KTZ

I headed to Radio me London last week for the Kokon to Zai press day.
Checking out their ridiculously cool SS14 collection, Rihanna has already donned the street wear brand on stage. Inspired by the traditions of the spiritual nomadic culture and their impact on today's society, you could see this translate through the detail in his intricate embellishment of the hand motif. Graphic and modern patterns which are layered through an aesthetic of cool cultures, create his undoubtedly luxurious sporty look.

Just take a look, I want it all.

Ridiculously hungover post Kenzo party I had Colette Dinnigan at 9:00am. This wasn't a particuarly pretty sight, hence not looking at the camera. Please admire yet more mix and matching. Wearing the jacket and shoes again. Oooo multi wearing, this can be done.

297. Poser

When packing I always try and be strategic, being able to mix and match and taking outfits from day to evening without looking boring. It was safe to say that even when doing this I manage to still take a huge suitcase for a three day saga. Wearing this outfit to the Hexa by Kuho show then making my way into the night for the insane Kenzo party, which was in an aquarium. Yes it was amazing, maybe I'll dedicate a post to the parties I went to because they were great. Anyways my colour palette for the weekend was rather bland but I love it. Look at my serious face, yes I'm serious about fashion...

292. Poser

I woke up bright and early for the first show of the season, Bora Aksu. Starting at 9:00 I didn't feel pretty but I had prepared an outfit the night before knowing I'd be half awake when I got dressed. I experimented a little with colour, I've never worn bright orange with a caramel before but I think it works especially with the grandad coat. Rocking what I felt like was a 1950's secretary look, the Louboutins killed my feet by the end of the day. No lie, compeed is on the toes.

1. Coat, Topshop £55
2. Skirt, Asos £18
3. Polo neck, vintage £1
4. Clutch, Biba £129
5. Heels, Louboutins £395

290. Poser.

Following last weeks poser post, we actually did two outfits on the same day (due to both having busy schedules) but I recently won these amazing headphones and bought this parka. I'm currently obsessed with white. It's such an annoyingly chic colour, so easy to get dirty. Pretty sure there's grease stains on it already from my last drunken visit to PFC (perfectly fried chicken of course). I'm full of class what can I say.

1. Headphones, Urbanears £89.50
2. Parka, Topshop £30

These trousers were an absolute bargain find, £7 from H&M in the dregs of the sale. At the time I was like hmmm really? But I thought fuck it YOLO/FOMO (new one my friend taught me, fear of missing out).

Photos of Fashion - PFW SS13

I don't really do street style but if I see someone looking good I'll take a natural photo. I hate hassling people but I guess people dress up at fashion week just to have their photo taken. This was before Issey Miyake.
